Donald Williams

Donald Williams is an enrolled Umatilla Tribal Member/Nez Perce Descendent, Principal and Owner of From the Light Consulting, a Tribal member owned energy consulting firm. Mr. Williams has been working in the energy sector for 15 years. During this time, he has gained valuable experience ranging from technical grant writing, project management, development, and consultation to Tribal, State, Federal agencies and NGO’s.

Donald is an advocate of Renewable Energy policy, Transmission advocacy, and Energy sovereignty and resiliency in the Pacific Northwest Tribal and Rural communities. Mr. Williams currently serves or is a part of the Western Tribal Transmission Workgroup, WestTEC-Regional Engagement Committee, The Western Transmission Consortium Board of Directors, Spark Northwest Board of Directors, Puget Sound Energy Resource Planning Advisory Group, and an ATNI Energy Committee Co-Chair.
