Isaac is Managing Partner at 38 North Solutions, where he oversees the day-to-day operation of the firm, while also serving as a trusted advisor to some of the most prominent executives in clean tech. Isaac was recently named one of the 500 most influential people in Washington, DC, by Washingtonian magazine. He was deeply involved in the development of the Inflation Reduction Act and helps companies position themselves to benefit from the law. His clients have secured billions in funding from the federal government, and given his leadership experience in Congress, Isaac is able to design and implement effective campaigns to secure legislative victories.
Before 38 North, Isaac served in senior roles in Congress as Committee Staff, Legislative Director, and Floor Director to the Chief Deputy Whip of the U.S. House of Representatives, where he was part of one of the most successful leadership operations in recent memory, earning passage for significant pieces of legislation including the Waxman-Markey American Clean Energy and Security Act, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act, and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. He also worked on the Obama for President Campaign in 2008 and John Kerry for President in 2004. Isaac has a graduate degree from Brown University.
